AI project plan generator
Describe your project in a few sentences and the AI drafts a plan: phases with tasks, roles and effort in days, milestones by week, risks with a response plan and the roles on the team. The generator is free and works without signing up; you can copy the plan, download it as CSV or open it in Syntra as your first project.
What you get
- Phases and tasksUsually 3 to 6 phases in order, each with tasks that name the role doing them and the effort in working days.
- MilestonesThe key results of the project with the week they fall in.
- RisksRisks of this particular project: probability, impact and what to do.
- Team rolesWho the project needs, from the manager to the people doing the work.
- Copy and CSVCopy the plan as text or download it as a CSV table that Excel opens.
- A project in SyntraAfter you sign up, the plan becomes a project: tasks by phase with deadlines, milestones and risks.
How it works
- Describe the project.What needs doing, for whom and by when — two to five sentences are enough. Team size and the deadline in weeks make the plan more realistic.
- The AI drafts the plan.The generator sends the description to the AI model and shows phases, tasks, milestones and risks. If the deadline looks too tight, the AI says so in the plan’s summary.
- Check it and save it.The plan is a draft: adjust the durations to your team. Copy it or download the CSV.
- Open it in Syntra.Click “Open in Syntra” and sign up in the same browser. Once your workspace is activated, the projects list offers to create a project from this plan.
What happens to your description
To draft the plan, your description is sent to an AI model by Anthropic in the USA; Anthropic is on Syntra’s list of sub-processors. Syntra stores neither the description nor the plan.
For the limits, only a counter row is kept: the address hashed with a secret key, the language, the outcome, the duration and the number of characters — not the text itself.
Only you see the finished plan. When you click “Open in Syntra” it is saved in this browser, and it reaches Syntra only when you create a project from it.
Do not put personal data, passwords or trade secrets in the description — the plan does not need them.
Limits
The generator is free, but every AI request costs money, so there are limits:
- the description: 20 to 1,500 characters;
- from one address: 3 plans an hour and 10 a day;
- for all visitors together: 300 plans a day; when they run out, the generator asks you to try later;
- text that does not describe a project gets no plan but still counts toward the limit.
Inside Syntra, AI requests count toward the allowance of your pricing plan.
Questions and answers
Is the generator really free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no card: 3 plans an hour and 10 a day from one address. You only need to sign up to move the plan into Syntra.
Do you store my project description?
No. The description goes to an AI model by Anthropic (USA) to draft the plan, and Syntra stores neither the description nor the plan — only a request counter for the limits.
How do I move the plan into Syntra?
Click “Open in Syntra” under the plan and sign up in the same browser. Once your workspace is activated, the projects list offers to create the project: tasks by phase get deadlines, milestones become tagged tasks and risks become project risks with a level. The draft waits for 14 days.
Why did the generator not draft a plan?
Usually the description is too short or does not look like a project: say what needs doing, for whom and by when. If you have reached the limit, the generator tells you so — try again later.
Does the generator build a Gantt chart?
No, the generator gives phases, tasks and milestones by week, without a Gantt chart. If you need one, move the tasks into the free Excel template — it draws the bars on the weeks by itself.
Keep the plan alive in Syntra
A draft is only the start. In Syntra the plan’s tasks get deadlines, you assign people, risks have a level and a response plan, every morning a digest shows what is overdue and what is stuck, and the assistant drafts the status report from live data.
