Syntra is web-based project and task management software with a built-in AI assistant, made by Tymko.Tech. Below are short answers about features, pricing in EUR, security and data location, languages and moving from other tools.
The product
What is Syntra?
Syntra is web-based project and task management software with a built-in AI assistant, made by Tymko.Tech. Projects, tasks, risks, sprints, documents, meeting minutes and a team calendar live in one workspace, and the assistant answers questions from your company’s own data with links to the sources. The interface is available in 8 languages, with Ukrainian as the default.
Who is Syntra for?
Syntra is built for companies, project management offices (PMOs), department heads and team leads who run several projects at once. A small team can start on the free plan, which covers up to 3 people and 5 projects. Examples for different industries are collected under Solutions.
What can you manage in Syntra?
In Syntra you manage projects with tasks, risks, a budget (plan and actual), documents, notes and meeting minutes. A task has an assignee, a deadline, tags, a checklist, story points, attachments and comments. Teams that work in sprints get a backlog, a sprint board, burndown and reports on the Business and Enterprise plans.
Does Syntra have a kanban board?
Yes, Syntra has two kanban boards: a board of projects and a board of sprint tasks. Projects move between the columns Not started, In progress, Testing, On hold, Done and Cancelled on every plan. Sprint tasks move from Not started to In progress, In review and Done and can be grouped by assignee or project; sprints come with the Business and Enterprise plans. More on the online kanban board page.
Does Syntra have a Gantt chart?
No, Syntra has no Gantt chart. Timing shows up in task and project deadlines, the team calendar, the sprint burndown and the project completion forecast in the Trends tab. If you cannot work without a Gantt chart, see the comparison with Microsoft Project.
Does Syntra work on a phone?
Yes, Syntra runs in the browser on a computer or a phone and can be installed on the phone as an app. There is also a Telegram bot, @Syntra_AI_bot, that sends notifications and answers questions to the assistant.
Which languages does Syntra support?
The Syntra interface is available in 8 languages: Ukrainian (the default), English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and Russian. The AI assistant answers in the user’s language, so everyone in a mixed team works in their own.
The AI assistant
What does the Syntra AI assistant do?
The Syntra assistant answers “what is at risk, who is overloaded, what changed” across every project you can access, with links to the exact tasks, risks and documents. It drafts status reports, reads PDF, DOCX and XLSX files with page references, analyses screenshots and photos, and creates tasks when you confirm. More on the AI Engine page.
Can the AI change anything without my confirmation?
No, risky actions such as deletions or bulk changes always wait for your confirmation. The assistant has three modes: Analysis, Review (it only checks and every change is blocked; from the Business plan) and Action (it creates tasks and updates statuses).
Can the AI see data I have no access to?
No, the assistant sees exactly what your role allows. An owner sees every project, a department editor sees the projects of their department, and a viewer sees only the projects they are assigned to; document search is limited the same way. More on the Roles and Isolation page.
Are AI models trained on our documents?
No, AI models are never trained on Syntra customers’ documents or data. Requests to the assistant are processed by the sub-processor Anthropic (USA), and document text for search by meaning by OpenAI (USA); both are on the sub-processor list.
Can the assistant make up an answer?
The assistant takes facts from your company’s data, links to its sources and says so when there is no data. An answer about a document names the file and the page, so it is easy to check. Like any AI it can be wrong, so check important conclusions against the links it gives.
What is an AI request and how many come with a plan?
An AI request is one message to the assistant; Syntra counts requests, not tokens. Free includes 100 requests a month, Starter 1,000, Business 3,000 and Enterprise 12,000. Any paid plan can add 500 requests for €25.
Can I connect an external AI assistant to Syntra?
Yes, through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP): the Syntra server is at https://syntra.tymko.tech/mcp, and every workspace has its own address under Settings → API. The assistant sees what the connected user sees, writes only when the workspace has writing switched on, and nothing can be deleted through MCP. AI assistant connections come with the Enterprise plan.

How do Starter, Business and Enterprise differ?
Starter adds project health lights, document search and versions, the Telegram bot, image analysis and Excel and PDF export to Free. Business adds sprints, the team calendar, departments and roles, an audit log, deadline reminders and a knowledge base. Enterprise adds the API, webhooks, connectors, AI assistant connections via MCP and voice input on the web and in Telegram.
How do I pay for Syntra?
Syntra is paid by card through Stripe and renews automatically every 30 days. On the Business and Enterprise plans you can also pay by invoice.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, you can get a full refund within 14 days of the first payment for your first paid plan. Details are in the refund policy.
What happens if a payment is late?
Seven days after a missed payment the workspace switches to restricted mode: data is kept and can be viewed, but you cannot create projects or tasks or use the AI until the subscription is restored. Data is not deleted because of a missed payment.
How much does Syntra cost for a holding with several companies?
Holdings with several legal entities have a separate plan: €6 per user per month with separate AI request limits for each legal entity. To set it up, write to hello@tymko.tech.
Security and data
Where is Syntra data stored?
Syntra platform data is hosted in Ukraine, by the hosting provider Hosting Ukraine. The sub-processors for AI (Anthropic, OpenAI), e-mail (Resend) and payments (Stripe) are in the USA, and error monitoring (Sentry) is in the EU, in Germany. The full list is on the sub-processors page.
How is data protected in Syntra?
Every company works in its own isolated workspace, and data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is set by roles at company, department, project and document level; there is two-factor sign-in (TOTP), an audit log, change history, a restorable trash and nightly backups.
Who processes the data, and is there a DPA?
The data processor is Ivan Tymko (Tymko.Tech), registered in Portugal, and the data processing agreement (DPA) and the sub-processor list are public. The DPA is governed by Portuguese law and refers to the GDPR.
What happens to our data if we leave?
After the contract ends, data is kept for 30 more days so you can export it, and then it is permanently deleted. Projects and tasks export to Excel and reports to PDF (from the Starter plan); a request to export or delete data can be sent to support@tymko.tech.
For teams in Ukraine
Is Syntra available in Ukrainian?
Yes, Ukrainian is the default interface language of Syntra, and the AI assistant answers in Ukrainian when you write in Ukrainian. Every user can pick one of 8 languages in their profile, so colleagues from other countries work in the same workspace in their own language. More on the Ukrainian project management system with AI page.
Who is behind Syntra?
Syntra is developed by Tymko.Tech. The service provider under the public offer is Ivan Tymko (Tymko.Tech), registered in Portugal, and the platform data is hosted in Ukraine.
Which currency are the prices in?
Syntra prices are in euros excluding VAT: Starter €49, Business €149 and Enterprise €399 per month, and Free costs nothing. Payment is by card through Stripe, and on the Business and Enterprise plans also by invoice.
Can we work with Syntra through Telegram?
Yes, the Telegram bot @Syntra_AI_bot sends notifications and the morning digest and answers text questions to the assistant. The bot understands voice messages on the Enterprise plan; connecting Telegram is available from the Starter plan.
Switching and integrations
Can we move our data from Jira, Trello or Excel?
Partly: Syntra imports a list of projects from Excel and creates a project from a document, and it has connectors for Jira and Worksection. The Excel import reads the columns Name, Status, Priority, Category, Progress, Quarter, Leader, Comment and Deadline; from a document (up to 5 PDF, Word, Excel or image files) the AI proposes the tasks and risks of a new project. The Jira, Worksection, GitHub and Creatio connectors sync tasks on the Enterprise plan; there is no ready-made import from Trello, Asana or monday.com.
Can we use Syntra together with Jira?
Yes, the Jira connector syncs the title, deadline, status (To Do, In Progress, Done) and priority of tasks both ways or one way, as you choose. Developers stay in Jira, while a manager sees every company project, the risks and the reports in Syntra. Connectors come with the Enterprise plan; more in the Syntra and Jira comparison.
Which services does Syntra integrate with?
Syntra connects Google, Outlook (Microsoft 365), iCloud and any iCal calendars, Telegram, two-way connectors for Jira, GitHub, Worksection and Creatio, signed webhooks, a REST API, OAuth 2.0 and an MCP server for AI assistants. The API, webhooks, connectors and MCP come with the Enterprise plan, Excel and PDF export from Starter. More on the Integrations page.
Does Syntra have an API?
Yes, Syntra has a REST API with access keys that read or read and write and can be limited to chosen projects; the reference is at https://syntra.tymko.tech/api/docs. What only a person should do is not available through the API: passwords, billing, company settings and invitations. The API comes with the Enterprise plan.
